Det här är en fantasy novell som jag skrev i 8:an under engelskan (VT-2014) och den ville jag lägga upp här för att få veta vad ni tyckte

I whined quietly in pain. I was almost certain the fall had done som serious damage to my back, considering how it felt like it was smashed into several pieces. I looked up at from where I fell. Where it just a couple of seconds ago would have been a tall pine tree. there was now only blue sky and small, white clouds. I tried to stand up and to my surprise, it went quite well. There was nothing wrong with my back, except that it hurt like hell. I looked around, trying to figure out exactly where I was. It looked like some kind of meadow, with its green grass and flowers in different colours. Alltogether it looked really pretty.

"Who are you and what are you doin' on my land?!" yelled someone from somewhere below me. I looked down to see a short man standing in front of me, looking both grumpy and impatient. He seemed to be waiting for an answer. But what would I say? I didn't even know how I got here in the first place. I decided to stick to the truth. I don't know why, but I had a strange feeling he could read minds.
"I jumped down from a tree, fell and ended up here." For a moment he looked completely flabbergasted. But then he shook it off and started yelling and shouting at me again, even louder than before. This time I had enough. I just wanted it to stop. So I closed my eyes and when I did, it went silent. I opened my eyes again and saw why. The little man didn't have anyone to shout at anymore, or so he thought. He couldn't see me. I had turned invisible, hust like that. Even if I was half human, half faerie (yeah, really), I had never been able to do that before. Actually, I'd never had any powers at all. If he looked taken back it was noting compared to what I felt at that moment.

"Now where did she go?" he muttered to himself. I started to relax again and I turned visible. But when I did, he didn't seem very surprised at all. Quite the opposite. He let out a loud groan.
"I should have known.... Another fae! Just my luck..."
"Well, actually Í'm half human too..." I pointed out.
"Enough! Whatever you've got to say, I don't want to hear. I don't want anything to do with your kind!" I sighed. Could this be any worse?! I was lost and the only person that could help me disliked me, no, loathed faeries.
"Could you please just listen?" I asked. He looked at me with so much hatred, I almost forgot what to say.
"I don't know where I am and I really need your help to get out of here." The man thought for a moment. Then he spoke.
"What do I get for helping you? 'Cause I won't do anything for you unless I have some kind of winning."
"If you help me you'll never have to see me again."

The man agreed to the deal. He told me he was a wizard, but he was often mistaken for a dwarf, because of his length. Then he showed me his home. He owned a small farm in the mittle of nowhere. I could never even dream about a life that dull, but apparently he was happy so I didn't say anything. His name was Nathan Holmes. I just told him my name was Jodie. Actually it was Jodie Afton, but giving out full names to wizards - especially wizards you couldn't completely trust - was extremely dangerous. Allthough Nathan didn't care what my name was, but I didn't want to risk it.

"So what do I do to get home?" I asked. I had been there for almost six hours, don't ask me why, and refused to stay the night.
"First you need to know where you are right now", Nathan explained. "Do you know that?" I shook my head.
"You're in Everland, a tiny little dimension where the fae have their big castle." Oh my god! How could I be so stupid? Of course I was. I'd even been here before, once when I was a child. Me and my mum visited the castle to celebrate... well, something. I couldn't remember so much from then, but that wasn't the point.
"In the castle there's a prince, prince Wilhelm. He's the only one who can help you." It was perfect. Prince Wilhelm knew me. He would help me home in no time.

Lucky enough, Nathan knew where the castle was, so ten minutes later we were heading towards it. After some time I decided he couldn't read minds. At least, I hoped so because more than once I thought of nothing but but different ways of killing him. Not only did I have to carry his stuff, but I also had to listen to him singing lodly and clearly about how stupid fae were. Okay, I wasn't a pure fae but that didn't stop me from feeling insulted.

According to the map Nathan drew with magic (no, he can't draw otherwise) the castle stood right behind the gigantic tunnel we just reached.
"We'll have to go through it to reach the other side", Nathan whispered.
"Why are you whispering?" I asked.
"You'll soon see". I hesitated. Was it some kind of animal sleeping in there? Either way, it was something very dangerous, or Nathan wouldn't have stopped singing at all.

It was dark and wet in there and all I could hear was my own breath. Funny, I didn't know wizards didn't brath. I turned around to tell Nathan, but I closed my mouth when I saw him. Nathan had stopped dead quiet, staring out in the dark, his eyes filled with fear.
"What is it?" I asked. He barely opened his mouth when he finally spoke.
"I'm really sorry, but I can't continue. Don't ask me why. I just... can't."
"Nathan? What's in there?" But deep inside, I didn't want to know. Nathan seemed very tough before and now he looked like he was going to cry like a little baby.
"They... They're called Macras. A Macra is a crab-like creature who hides in damp places, like caves. Their sight is extraordinary and our chance of passing by is like one in a million." I looked through the tunnel. I couldn't see or hear anything, but I could still feel something waiting in there.
"What if I turn myself invisible again?" I said quietly. "Then I could pass by totally unnoticed." Nathan grimaced, as if just the thought of fae powers being used made him want to vomit.

We managed to get through at last. Nathan used an invisibility spell on himself, since he refused to use my powers. I think he cried at some point, but I was too scared myself to take any notice. When we reached the other side there was a tunnel made of mirrors. Great, just what I needed. Now I wouldn't miss how ugly I looked. My dark brown hair was all wet and muddy. My clothes were shredded and my hazel coloured eyes looked really tired. At least I would be home soon.

Once we reached fresh air again, a horrifying sight met us. There was no castle. Not anymore. The only thing we could see were ruins and more ruins.
"What is this?!" I yelled at Nathan. "You said there would be a castle here!" Nathan looked sadly at me.
"I'm so sorry. Really", he whispered.
"What do you mean?"
"According to an ancient writing, great magical beasts with hammers came and turned this fantastic, wonderful kingdom into ruins. Then they imprisoned the prince. In order to get him back, you need to give the beasts fae blood. I'm sorry."
"I still don't underst..." I began, but Nathan had already taken out a staff. A lightning bolt hit my forehead. I could taste blood and then everything went black.

And then I understood. I didn't get to Everland by an accident. I was meant to come here and my sacrifice would save the whole dimension and everyone would live happily ever after. With that last thought, I smiled as I faced death.

Okeeej, den blev extremt lång och jag borde ha delat upp det i flera delar. Jag tänker inte berätta vilket betyg jag fick, för jag vill veta vad ni ger för betyg. Tack!

Situation radical So radiating beautiful A combination bursting out of my head This is where it all goes down in the end So welcome to the edge
