Namn: Troye Avery
Kön: Man Utseende: Några centimeter över medellängd, något muskulösare kropp.

![]() --- Alison stood in front of the mirror, and watched her reflection in it. She looked at the green eyes, the red hair, the freckles and the scar across her right eyebrow. She shook her head and picked up the green hairbrush and started to work her way through the long, silky hair. She braided it carefully, letting it hang on her back to get it out of her face. She put some makeup around her eyes, and looked at herself again. She was pretty, at least according to the students in her year. She turned from the mirror and tied her tie around her neck. Alison was excited, since they were going to announce who would represent each house in the tournament today. She had enrolled after her friends had pushed her to it; they had said that she was definitely smart enough to participate. That was true, she had very good grades and enjoyed school which made her a smart student. But cleverness wasn’t enough to win the Tournament; cunning, bravery and loyalty were also the key words to the Tournament, each word was fundamental for one of the houses. That was where the cooperation came into play. The houses were competing two and two at the early stages of the tournament, which then were to end in one house against another in the final task. Alison wondered which houses had been paired up; it was completely randomly. Alison grabbed her bag and went out, moving towards the Entrance Hall. As she arrived, she saw a group of her friends waving towards her. She waved back and went to them. Together, they walked into the Great Hall, and they found seats at the Ravenclaw Table. The table was filled with food, and Alison ate of almost everything. She loved the food at Hogwarts, and she always went from the meals with her stomach full. As she ate, Dumbledore stood up. His hand movements made the entire room quiet in the matter of seconds. In front of him, floating in the air, were four big papers. Each paper had a different colour; red, blue, green and yellow. Each representing one of the four houses. Dumbledore cleared his throat before speaking. “Students. The time has come to reveal the four champions for this year’s Triwizard Championship. The pairing will be Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, against Ravenclaw and Slytherin. I’ll start with announcing Gryffindor’s champion; Daisy Rain” he said, and the Gryffindor table exploded and started to applause and a girl from year 6, who Alison knew a bit, stood up. She walked across the room and stood next to the red paper, on which her name had appeared in white, beautiful letters. Dumbledore made a hand movement again, and the Gryffindor table fell silent. “Next is Hufflepuff’s champion; Tyler Smith”, the Headmaster said and this time the applauses came from the Hufflepuff table. A black haired guy from year 7, who Alison had seen a couple of times, walked up and stood next to the yellow paper. “This is the red and yellow team” Dumbledore said when the Hufflepuff table were silent. “Now to the opposite team. First, Ravenclaw’s champion; Alison Langdon” he said and it took a second for Alison to realize what had happened. She stood up and was greeted by the Ravenclaw table which was clapping and screaming. Some were even chanting. As she walked up towards the Headmaster, she could even see some of the other students clapping, as well. She looked at the blue paper, which now had her name on it. She stood next to it, facing the crowd in front of her. She looked over at the Slytherin table, wondering who would be her partner. 6 jun, 2018 10:31 |

It was Saturday, aka the day when Dumbledore would announce the contestants in the tournament. Troye, being the guy that he was, obviously enrolled without anyone even having to tell him to do so. When he first heard about it he immediately knew that he was the perfect contestant. (Yes. Extremely full of himself.)
"Troye, we have to go!" said Nathan, one of Troye's closest friends. Troye was checking himself out in the mirror. His blonde hair, which was naturally curly, was now straight, thanks to a spell that McGonagall had taught him personally. (Not because she liked him that much. She was just tired of his nagging about it.) "Chill out", Troye muttered, looking at his dark brown eyes for a second before turning around to face Nathan. Nathan was much taller than himself, which did make him feel insecure a lot of the time - but then again, Nathan was taller than everyone. Plus, Troye was pretty sure that he was seen as more handsome than Nathan anyway. They walked out of the common room and worked their way up the stairs, on their way to the Entrance Hall. As they were walking they met a lot of other students, some of whom they said an brief hello to, some of whom they ignored. Being the "jocks" that they were, they couldn't say hallo to anyone. It would probably hurt their reputation (or so they thought). After a couple of minutes of walking and chatting with random people, they sat down at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall. The table was filled with food and both of the boys ate a lot of everything, as usual. They continued their meaningless chatting with various people at the table until Dumbledore stood up and began to announce the contestants. He didn't recognize the Gryffindor nor the Hufflepuff contestants - but he did recognize the Ravenclaw contestant. It was his ex-girlfriend Claire's friend, Alison Langdon. Troye had been kind of a dick to Claire, so he did understand why both she and all of her friends basically despised him - but still. How could anyone hate him? He really didn't understand it. "And lastly, the Slytherin champion is...", Dumbledore began, and Troye literally felt the tension building up at the table. "Troye Avery!" His name appeared in white letters at the green paper. He wanted to act surprised, like everyone else had, but he couldn't. It just felt so obvious to him that he was the contestant; it was just his destiny. He stood up, wearing a huge smile on his lips, and walked over to the paper. He had no thoughts about having to work with Alison, the only thing that he could think about was looking out at the cheering Slytherin-crowd and being excited about what was yet to come. bleh 6 jun, 2018 12:44 |

Alison was very close of groaning out loud when Dumbledore announced the Slytherin champion. Troye Avery of all people. She didn’t like him one bit, he was full of himself and a big jerk. He had been together with one of Alisons closer friends, Claire. When he broke up with her, he had been such an idiot and left Claire hurt. Alison didn’t like people who hurt her friends, which made her dislike Troye more. Her eyes found Claire at the Ravenclaw table, who looked more angry than sad. Alison, on the other hand, kept her poker face when the Slytherin student made his way to the Headmaster, and took his place next to her. Dumbledore cleared his throat and the room fell silent.
“Now we have the blue and green team, as well. Champions, get to know your teammate, the first task will begin this afternoon and depends on how well you can handle each other” the Headmaster said and dismissed the students, and the room went back to normal; filled with chatter, laughs and other sounds. Alison wondered what the first task would be, it sounded like some sort of task which included cooperation to get to know each other. She didn’t look forward to it. Alison decided to be the bigger person, and turned to Troye when Dumbledore sat down. “Look what the cat dragged in” she said, raising her eyebrow. So much for being the bigger person. But she knew that he would probably say something rude as well, she figured that she might as well beat him to it. Her green eyes met his dark brown. What had Claire seen in him, anyway? Alison would probably never get to know that. She only knew that she wanted to win this Championship, which meant that she had to get to know Troye. He would probably want to win as much as she did, so he probably wouldn’t be too hesitant to get to know her either, since they needed to do so to eventually. 6 jun, 2018 13:39 |

It was first after a while, when the cheering stopped, that Troye realized. He would have to work together with Alison Langdon. Alison fucking Langdon. And he would have to get to know her! He really didn't want to - she was probably just a Claire no. 2. Sweet, but a bore. (Of course she was much more than that, but not that Troye noticed. He doesn't notice a lot of things.)
He listened to Dumbledore and held in a sigh. 'Depends on how well you can handle each other'? Troye was already close to losing; he could not work with Alison without killing her, or at least putting some spell on her to keep quiet. He didn't like most Ravenclaws at all, to be honest. Ravenclaw was the "smart" house, which made most of them believe that they were better than everyone else. (Which basically described Slytherins, but that's not the point here!) He heard a familiar voice next to him and immediately turned around. Obviously it was Alison. He looked at her green eyes before letting his eyes wander to her hair. Troye had always liked redheads, for some reason. Not that it mattered. "Do you have a problem with me?" he asked, holding in all of his rude comments that came to mind. bleh 6 jun, 2018 18:27 |

Alison sniggered.
“Well, it depends on how you see it. I don’t have a problem you physically, it’s just the way you are that I have a problem with” she said and looked at him. “I just hope that it won’t stand in my way during this competition” she said, and studied his face and reaction. It was true though, she didn’t want to lose because of the biggest jerk of all time. Hopefully he would lose later in the competition, leaving her with one of the other two in the finals. “I’ll ask the same question to you; do you have a problem with me?” she said and raised an eyebrow. She knew the answer to the question, but she answered it anyway. She was surprised that he hadn’t said anything rude yet, but she just waited for it, it was sure to come soon. She was pretty sure he was going to mention her blood status, all the Slytherin students seemed to care about that. Alison was Muggle born, which made her a disgrace in many wizards and witches eyes. She didn’t care, however. She barely had any contact with the muggle world anyway. Alison looked over at the other contestants, who had started to talk to each other. A lot. Crap, they were already behind. She was close to suggest they buried whatever hatchet they had (which was kind of weird, the hatchet should be Claire’s and Troye’s, not Alison’s). However, she was pretty sure Troye would either make fun of her for suggesting it or say something rude about it. It wouldn’t work. What on Earth had she done to deserve getting teamed up with Troye Avery? 6 jun, 2018 19:14 |

His brain didn't quite follow her talking. He was just looking back and forth from her red hair, to her green eyes, and to the blue paper behind her. Eyecontact was uncomfortable; Troye hated it. Not with his friends, though. Just people that he didn't know that well. Something about insecurity, his mom had said.
"I have a problem with you because you obviously have a problem with me", he answered with a defiant tone in his voice. Not that he acutally wanted to fight with her - he wanted to win - but it was hard to be nice. So he decided to be himself. If she wanted to win she would have to accept him no matter what, anyway. Just when he saw Alison looking at the other contestants, he did the same thing. He was that they were conversing happily with each other, but it didn't stress him out. He was brilliant enough to handle the competition without being friends with Alison Langdon. bleh 6 jun, 2018 20:52 |

Alison just made a gesture with her hand and sighed.
“Fine, whatever you say. But I guess we need to start working to make it through the first task” she said and looked over at him. She tried to see him as another person, and forget the fact that he was an idiot. It was hard, but it worked for a few seconds. She wondered what the first task would be, and how the relationship between the team members would come into play. They didn’t have to become friends, hopefully, but they needed to stand to be with each other, at least. Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Professor Snape and Professor Sprout suddenly stood up, and went to the champion who represented their house. Professor Flitwick came over to Alison. “Miss Langdon, congratulations! Here is the first information about the first task, the rest will get cleared up this afternoon. Good Luck” he said and gave her a rolled-up parchment. Alison took it and opened it. It wasn’t much, it just said, “Do you have what it takes to face the Forest? You need to depend on your partner for this one. Together, and only together, you can face this task”. She shook her head and looked at Troye, waiting for him to read it for himself. 6 jun, 2018 21:07 |

He tried to ignore her. It was dumb, he knew that, but it felt cooler to ignore her. Ignoring people made him feel more important - which, he realized, is something that he can never say out loud. Not even Nathan would stay behind him and support him if he ever said that.
Troye's eyes darted to professor Flitwick as he walked up to Alison and handed her a rolled-up parchment. Quickly after that, his eyes darted to professor Snape, who seemed to walk towards him in slow motion. But Snape always walked in that pace, so did it even count as slow motion for him anymore? "Congratulations, mr Avery", he said when he finally came up to him. His voice was just as slow as his walking and he, slowly (of course), handed him a rolled-up parchment, just like the one that Alison had gotten. "I suggest that you read this through carefully." Troye took the parchement and opened it, and Snape walked away. "Do you have what it takes to face the Forest? You need to depend on your partner for this one. Together, and only together, you can face this task." He could probably handle the task himself, he was sure of it. He was (and this was actually true) one of the highest achieving students in his year - so obviously he could handle whatever task they gave them on his own. No problem. "Is this supposed to be a clue or something? Or a pep talk?" he asked, still looking down at the parchment. bleh 6 jun, 2018 21:22 |
