William's lips felt so soft and kind in some type of way. It felt completely different than Audrey's lips; although he couldn't decide which feeling he preferred. The kiss broke of quickly, too quickly, due to another voice. Noel heard it and processed it but didn't realize who it was, and didn't care either. William did, though. He quickly pulled away and almost pushed Noel away from him. At first Noel didn't understand at all; but later it struck him - William didn't want to ruin his reputation. Noel had to respect that, even though it hurt.
The boys looked at the person who had spoken and when Noel saw that it was Audrey, his hand immediately went to his mouth, wiping them, as if that would've removed the kiss from her memory.
"Are you stalking him or something?" William sounded angry and upset, but scared. Probably scared that Audrey would spread the word. Why wouldn't she, though? Noel opened his mouth to say something, but his mind was blank and all that came out was a deep sigh.

Audrey laughed a joyless laugh.
“Please, as if I wanted to stalk him. We’re in the same school. Statistically we’re bound to be at the same place at the same time sometimes” she said and raised an eyebrow. She looked at William, and then at Noel. She heard that William sounded a bit scared on his voice. Was he afraid that Audrey would mess up his reputation? It would probably be a good revenge, he had been one of the laughing guys during her episode in the Great Hall. At the same time, she didn’t get why that would ruin his reputation; it was love. But then again, Audrey had a different view on nakedness, kisses and other things that normally embarrassed people.
“Although it seems like you are stalking him, and using him too, like he is your little toy” she added, and moved her gaze back to William. She had thought about it, how many times hadn’t William showed up during these days the project had been ongoing, barely acknowledging Noel sometimes and the next speaking with him? And how weird Noel had been around William, and now this?

Noel's mind stopped being blank and filled up with various curse-words. Why did this happen to him? Holy fucking hell, he was the most unlucky person to ever exist. Typical Noel, though. No one answered the first thing that Audrey said. It was true - they all knew that, and Noel just couldn't find anything to say that wouldn't upset either of them. The silence almost turned awkward before Audrey opened her mouth again.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Williams voice got loud and Noel could see the anger in his eyes.
"Guys...", Noel's voice came out embarassly weak and he walked up in between them, because William had started to walk up to Audrey. Quickly, William placed his hand on Noel's chest and pushed him away.
"I am not treating him like a toy", he snarled, taking one step closer to her and then stopping. "You have completely ruined him!"

Audrey laughed sarcastically. She completely loved Williams reaction, he was definitely someone she could trigger and push to the edge.
“Yeah? Well that’s not what I have witnessed, making him run around you like his little puppy” she said and grinned. That wasn’t true, she knew that (or at least didn’t think it was), but it was fun to push William. She noticed how William pushed Noel away, and she didn’t pay any attention to Noel. She took a step towards William, so show him that she wasn’t afraid of him.
“Ruined him? He is not a toy that can break, but apparently you think so” she said and laughed, and this time, she actually did laugh.
“If anything, I’ve made his last week a pretty amazing one. And I’m sorry, no matter how much you dream about shagging him, you won’t do it as good as me. So yeah, I might have ruined that experience for you. Too bad.” she said with a grin. Once again, she was thankful that it didn’t embarrass her at all that they had had sex.

Crippity crappity crap. Seriously, those were the three words that went through Noel's head. Over, and over again. Audrey's comment about the shagging and all made him blush - and not discreetly or anything; he probably looked like a tomato.
"Unlike you, I actually care about him!" William did seem shook by her comment as well, but he actually did know about it since before; almost the entire school knew. "You have hung out with him for a week and you get in bed with him", he continued. Noel realized that he probably could walk away without any of them noticing. He couldn't, though. His feet were glued to the ground.
"You don't even know him!"

Audey shook her head.
“So what? It wasn’t like I forced him to climb in bed with me” she said and grinned mockingly at William.
“And what do you know about me caring about him or not? You have never even spoken a full sentence to me until now. I do care, especially when a person uses another person as a toy, it’s disgusting” she said calmly, but her voice was filled with loath. She hated when people jumped to conclusions with her.
“I’m getting to know him, you moron. As you said yourself, we’ve only hung out for a week, we haven’t had a chance to get to know each other until now. I thought a requirement for becoming a Prefect was that you had to be smart, but apparently that’s not the case with you” she said coldly and grinned.

"If you really cared about him you wouldn't bring him to parties or get him in bed", William answered, his eyebrows lowered, but his voice more calm than before. "A week ago, Noel was anti-parties and he had a huge focus on the right things!" Noel looked at William. He had always thought that William looked at him as a bore for not liking parties - but apparantly not. Cool. Merlin, could he stop thinking like that?
"And thanks to the party you brought him to, he got really fucking drunk", he continued, tensing up. "Do you know how much I had to do to get Sean to shut up about it and not tell Snape? Huh? Do you realize what would've happened if Snape would have got to know about it? He would strip Noel of his title as a Prefect!" Noel stared at William. He knew? And he did that for him? Wow. For some strange reason, he blushed. Did someone really care about him that much?

Audrey laughed mockingly.
“Last time I looked at Noel, he was a grown man who is capable of taking his own decisions. I didn’t force him to get drunk at the party, I had left the party when he took that decision for himself. And it’s not my fault that Sean is a fucking dipshit of a human being. Noel is a big boy, maybe you should start to see that too” she said and crossed her arms. Really, did William think that Noel was a baby or something?
“Poor William, has to run around and pry into other people’s businesses, must be hard for you to be so annoying, but that might be why they made you a Prefect, since they clearly didn’t care about the brain” she said and grinned. She looked William right in his eyes, she was not the one to back down, he had make her do it physically if that was going to happen. She was really pissed, and she felt the anger in her body. She didn’t really get why, but at the same time, she did. She didn’t want William to use Noel, and especially not play with his emotions. And then the extra hormones in her body probably had a part in it, too.

Noel grew some balls and walked in between them, pushing them away from each other.
"Stop it!" he yelled, switching between looking William dead in the eye to looking Audrey dead in the eye. "You're talking about me like I'm not even here, and I'm fucking done with it!"
He looked at them briefly before shoving his hands into his pockets and started to walk away from them. Suddenly, anger was pulsating through his veins, mixed with adrenaline. How could he have let them talk about him like that for so long? Didn't he have any type of respect for himself?
William continued to look at Audrey for a while, kind of shocked that Noel actually stood up for himself. He then turned around and walked after Noel instead.
"Noel, I'm-", he started, although he didn't get the chance to continue.
"Fuck off", Noel yelled without even looking back at him.

Audrey was about to say something when Noel reacted. She was impressed, good for him! She looked as he walked away, considering going after him. William beat her to it, but it wasn’t very appreciated, so she decided not to do the same. Instead, she kept mocking William. It was fun, after all.
“Yeah, listen to the guy, William! Fuck off!” she said after him, and remained in the spot she had been standing in. She didn’t move, instead she looked at the backs of Noel and William, expecting some kind of reaction. Not from Noel (but since he had surprised her just now, he might do it again), but from William. God, that guy was fun to tease and trigger. And the best part was that he deserved it, big time, so she didn’t even feel bad about it.
