When all the boys had left the dorm Noel could finally let the tears, that he had held in the entire night, come. He buried his head in his pillow, trying to minimize his crying sounds, just in case if someone would come back. He started to hate William. If he hadn't said anything to him about his feelings and shit... He wouldn't be so confused. And what about Klaus? Hell, he wished that he had anyone to talk to.

Audrey went through the day, and did so very quietly, at least if you compared the other days. She hadn’t seen Noel during the entire day, not even at the meals. She sat in the library, writing her homework, as Eric sat down at a chair next to her.
“Is it true, the rumours about you and Noel?” he asked, and Audrey looked at him.
“Well, since the school has a tendency to overreact, you have to specify the rumour” she said, raising her eyebrow.
“Well, you know…. If you guys….” He started, but didn’t finish the sentence, so Audrey did it for him.
“had sex? Yeah, we did. I don’t get why people are so weirded out about it? No one spread a rumour when I slept with Martin last year, and he was two years older. I’m pretty sure we’re not the only ones in school having sex. she said, and Eric laughed, shaking his head.
“Probably not” he said and smiled. He looked at her.
“You’re okay with all the stares?” he asked and Audrey nodded.
“It’s not like I have a choice, and they’ll settle in a few days” she said with a shrug.

Noel was "sick" for the rest of the week. Klaus came up with food to him but he barely ate any of it. All the thoughts that went through his head stopped him from eating. And all the crying stopped him, too. He had cried so much that his eyes were still red and puffy, when he woke up Saturday morning. He decided that he couldn't hide in his dorm for much longer. He couldn't hide there anymore at all, to be honest.

He went up from his bed and got dressed in a white sweater and black trousers. His hair looked terrible, and his eyes were red and puffy. He wanted to do something about it, but he was too scared to use magic on his face. He shook his head at himself in the mirror and walked out of the dorm and the common room. He worked his way up the stairs to the Entrance Hall. He leaned back against a wall and waited for Audrey. What was he going to say to her? Did he have to explain himself?

Audrey woke up in the morning, feeling ill. She sighed, she really didn’t want to get ill now. She stood up, when she had a funny feeling in her stomach. Two seconds after, she ran into the bathroom, fell to the floor, and vomited in the toilet. She hated vomiting. The sick was always disgusting, and the smell was unbearable. However, she felt much better. She flushed, and decided to go down to breakfast anyway; she did feel a lot better. She changed into a top and a pair of jeans, and looked at herself in the mirror. She went out the door and started working her way down all the stairs.

When she arrived in the Entrance hall, she saw Noel by the wall. She went up to him with a smile on her lips.
“Hey, stranger” she said with a grin, “feeling better?” she asked, and she was genuinely being nice.

He had almost forgot what Audrey looked like. (Okay, no, that was an exaggeration.) He still didn't feel like smiling, even after all those days of crying, but he forced a smile on his lips anyway.
"Yeah", he said and nodded, before entering the Great Hall. He sat down at a table and looked around him. No one was looking. It felt better. But it still didn't feel good.

Audrey nodded and sat down at the table.
“At least it’s the weekend, so it’s something” she said and smiled. She still felt a bit weird, so she didn’t feel like eating. She poured herself a drink and took a sip.
“So, do you have a lot of catching up to do? Or could you study while being ill?” she asked and leaned back in the chair. She looked around the room, and the stares had already stopped two days ago, which was pretty nice. She waved at Eric’s direction, and turned her attention back to Noel. She tried to read his face, but failed.
