Audrey didn't seem to mind at all, so Noel stood up and tightened his tie.
"Bye then", he said, looking down at her. Couldn't help but to think about how pretty she was. Could his hormonal brain stop? "I'll find you later, I guess." He didn't expect and answer, so he started to walk over to the castle. He actually walked pretty fast, which could be a strange sight for the other students. But Snape did want to meet him in a couple of minutes - and he did not want to keep him and the other Prefects waiting. Shortly after this he arrived at the Dungeons. He saw William, the seventh-year Prefect. Noel had kind of fancied him since he was fourteen. He wasn't gay or anything (or?) but William was... Really handsome. Noel walked up to him. "Hi", he said, smiling. The thing with William was that he actually liked Noel (or atleast so he thought.) William greeted him back and together they entered Snape's office. It was dark, with green and silver details. The two boys greeted their professor with a nod. The two chairs that were in there were already occupied by Cordelia and another girl. When all the Prefects were gathered, Snape started to speak. "It was brought to my attention that there was a festive occasion last night", he started, speaking slowly. "I don't believe that any of you were there, of course. That is not what this is about." Noel felt guilty. He hadn't seen any of the other Prefects there. He was the worst Prefect in the room. "I want you to do an extra round tonight", he continued, studying everyone in the room closely. Cordelia and the other girl just nodded, but the Prefect-girl in the seventh year sighed. She didn't say anything, though. He didn't say anything himself. Ofcourse it sucked. Staying up late to walk the halls to find nothing, it really sucked. But he would have permission to walk around during the night, which was kind of cool. Snape dismissed their little meeting and they all went out of his office. bleh 8 mar, 2018 23:17 |

Audrey wondered why they had a sudden meeting, all the Prefects. A thought popped up in her head; had Noel snitched about their party? If he had, he would be sorry. Audrey thought about it for a while, before sitting up. She took her bag, and took the book from inside. She opened it, and started to read. She liked reading, especially when she got to pick the book herself. School books just weren’t the same. She read a few pages before the letters started to jump in front of her. She sighed. How tired could she be? She only needed a few hours’ sleep every night, but this night she had had unusually few, even for her She tried to read the page one more time before closing the book. “Let’s gamble, then” she muttered to herself before putting her book back in the bag. She lied down in the grass again and used her bag as a pillow. She had to take a nap, and she couldn't go back to her room since she didn't know when Noel was going to come back. Fortunately, there weren't a lot of people around her anymore, most of them had gone inside, apparently. As soon as she closed her eyes, she felt foggy and she could really feel how her body slipped away into the dreamland. She tried to think of something nice, as a way to try and control what she was going to dream about during her nap, even though it almost never worked. A few minutes later, she was fast asleep. Audrey’s body started to twitch a little. Not as much as usual, but there was a twitch. Her eyes rolled back and forth behind her closed eyelids, and even though she was in a deep sleep, something bothered her. 8 mar, 2018 23:25 |

After going out of the office Noel actually stayed in the common room for a while. It was kind of breaking the rules, but he needed some time with his fellow Slytherins. Not that many of them were in the common room, but some were. William, for example. They had sat down in a green couch and had a nice conversation going on.
"I'm so lucky to be in the seventh year", William said, breaking the silence that had occured after a while. "The friends across the houses project would kill me." Noel nodded. Hell, he hoped that he would've been in the seventh year. Dumbledore realized that the project would take time from studying, so he let the seventh-year students stay out of it. "You are one lucky fellow", Noel said, smiling briefly. "Which reminds me. I have to be with my great Gryffindor friend!" The sarcastic tone in his voice was unusual. He usually disliked sarcasm. Was Audrey influencing him? Merlin, help him. William chuckled and said goodbye and Noel walked out of the common room with a large smile on his lips. It was almost covering his entire face. William had some effect on him. He didn't know if he loved it or hated it. Probably a mixture of both. He was happy, after all. "Where is she?", he said, quietly to himself. She could be anywhere. She was a Gryffindor and didn't they love to just run around an be silly? Noel shook his head and remembered that she seemed to be pretty tired. Maybe she was still out there, in the school yard? Wouldn't hurt to check, he thought, so he walked out of the castle. He looked out and saw a bunch of younger students running around, playing tag or something. They really seemed to enjoy the weather. It took him a while to see Audrey, still laying down on the grass. He slowly walked up to her, seeing that she twitched as he got closer. He knew that people twitched when they fell asleep, but he was sure that it wasn't normal to keep twitching for a long while. "Audrey?" he asked, placing his hands on her shoulders and shook her, trying to wake her up. He would hate to admit it, but he was worried about her. Was she having a nightmare or something? bleh 9 mar, 2018 12:59 |

Audrey had a way of dreaming very graphic and realistic, she had always dreamt that way. It was amazing during normal dreams, but completely terrifying during nightmares. Unfortunately, she was in a period with a lot of nightmares, making her sleeping sessions a living hell. In the middle of the whole dream experience, it was like someone shook her. She couldn’t figure it out until her eyes opened and she drew a huge breath. She was back in the school yard, with Noel shaking her. Damn it. She quickly stood up, as if she was protecting herself from him. She took two steps back, looking at him. “Dude, what the hell? Don’t scare a lady like that” she said annoyingly, trying to blame him for her reaction. She looked at him, and then at her watch. The meeting had been going on for a while, apparently. It wasn’t long until dinner, and then she could blame her tiredness and go to her bedroom early. “I see the meeting took long, I understand why you don’t go to them normally” she said and grinned. She dragged her hand across her face. “I need food, and then sleep again” she stated, looking at the castle. She just wanted to go to sleep, and then sneak out on her usual adventure when she felt this way. She just had to get rid of her partner first. Not that he would be the first to complain of parting early today, of course. Audrey figured that it was probably the only good reason to be with someone that didn’t like her, she could worm her way out of it early some days. But then again, he was a Prefect and probably wanted to do everything perfect. 9 mar, 2018 15:38 |

It took some long seconds before he got a reaction from Audrey. He looked right into her (quite beautiful) eyes. That moment seemed to last forever; which it didn't, though. Seconds later Audrey was up on her feet and she was angry. What the hell? He was obviously doing something nice! Sleeping in the middle of the school yard, twitching like that... Got to be embarassing for her. He wanted to yell at her, he really did. How could she be so ungrateful? Pathetic. He didn't yell at her, though. He'd decided that he was going to act as the bigger person. Because he was. He was way more mature than her. Right?
"Well, dinner starts in about fifteen minutes", he said, trying not to sound upset. It was hard, because he was almost boiling inside. How could she press all the wrong buttons so easily? "You want to do anything during that time or are you going to fall asleep again?" bleh 9 mar, 2018 17:29 |

Audrey rolled her eyes.
“Hilarious” she said sarcastically, “not all of us can lie in our pretty little Prefect bed, sleeping soundly night after night” she continued and took her bag. She knew it was unfair to be angry with him, he had just wanted to wake her up. She was just embarrassed of what he probably had seen. She hated the fact that her body reacted to her nightmares, which was why she never slept in public. Since she didn’t handle embarrassment like normal people, blushing and looking down, she acted out instead. It wasn’t ideal, since she had a tendency to speak her mind, especially when she was angry. Sometimes, she said more than she wanted, since she didn’t think before she spoke. Well, Noel had probably already figured out that she didn’t sleep well, so that cat was already out the bag. She started to walk up towards the castle, hopefully they could get dinner early. She got in the Great Hall, and threw herself on one of the chairs. The tables were still in groups, forcing her to eat dinner with Noel. Lovely. She sighed and looked at her watch, the food was to appear soon at least. She leaned back in the chair, looking around the room. Why did it seem like everyone else could get along with their partner? Was she really that annoying to hang out with? She knew that Eric joked around about it, but there must be a tiny part of it that were true. She shook her head. No, this wasn’t on her, Noel was the one who was stuck up. But he had at least tried to do what she wanted to, Audrey hadn’t even offered to join him to play Gobstones or something. She tried to think of something else, and not what Noel thought about her, why would she care what he thought? He was just an annoying Prefect, right? 9 mar, 2018 17:42 |

Sleeping problems, Noel thought to himself. His mother used to have those, but she bought some potions to solve them. H9e was going to open his mouth to say that to Audrey, but he didn't. Why would he? Why would he help Audrey, who was the most horrible person ever? Did she know how to be nice? Probably not. So he wouldn't either. (But he wouldn't be rude either. Trying to be the bigger person.)
"I guess that I'll just follow you, then", he said with some hidden irritation in his voice. Could she say something before she just turned around and left? Bloody hell, he had serious issues with being the bigger person. He just wanted to punch her, really. He swallowed his anger (not really, though) and followed her into the castle and into the Great Hall. He found that the tables were still arranged in groups. Really? He shot a glance at the teacher's table, where Dumbledore and some other professors already sat. Screw you Dumbledore, he thought to himself. He sat down at the table where Audrey sat and pulled his fingers through his dark, messy hair. He felt the uncomfortable silence and it really bothered him. It usually wouldn't, but now it did. He tried to come up with things to say, but the only things that his brain would come up with were stupid, hormonal things. He would not say anything of it. Why did his brain come up with things like, "you look really pretty", "I like your hair", and then, the worst of all, "your boobs looked great yesterday." Hell, he was terrible. bleh 9 mar, 2018 18:14 |

Audrey hated awkward silences. Usually she could talk, but with Noel, everything that came out of her mouth was something mean. Yeah, she loved being mean in a fun way, but she usually stopped when she realized the other person didn’t like or understand it (unfortunately that was the case too often). But with Noel, she just kept going. She couldn’t explain it, and she didn’t know why. When the food appeared, she filled her plate, but she just kept poking the food around. She had no appetite at all. When the potatoes had been doing three laps around her plate, she put her fork down. She took a sip of her drink and looked at Noel. She considered apologizing, but he would probably just make fun of her for it. She sighed. Here goes nothing. “I’m sorry” she said, quietly and fast, hoping that he wouldn’t hear, “I’m usually not in a good mood when I haven’t slept”. She took her fork again and poked around at her food again, hoping that he would have been too distracted to hear. She glanced at her watch, soon she could go up to the Gryffindor Tower and try and get some sleep. 9 mar, 2018 18:23 |

Noel was still lost in his thoughts as the food appeared. He even filled his plate still thinking. Thinking of Audrey last night, in that dress. Thinking about how silly (but beautiful) she had looked when she danced. It was like his brain could be set in two different modes; either intelligent and smart, or just blatant teenager. His brain was now, obviously, set on teenager. The worst mode.
Audrey apologized, thus interupting his thoughts. He really didn't mind. He was sick and tired of those thoughts. "Thanks", he just said, coldly. What did she expect? Him saying that oh, it's okay Audrey. You can treat me like shit, it's fine! I actually like it, please continue. Hell no. bleh 9 mar, 2018 18:28 |

At least he didn’t make fun of her. She just nodded and kept poking at her potatoes with her fork. After ten minutes, she put the fork down loudly, and stood up. “I’m going to bed” she said expressionlessly and took her bag. “See you tomorrow” she added before she walked out of the Great Hall. She was tired, both physically and mentally. It was only day two of this project, and she didn’t know if she was going to last much longer. As she came to the common room, she clamped up the stairs to her bedroom. She put a silence spell on her bed before undressing and going to bed. She was the only one there, who else got to bed at 7 in the evening? She closed her eyes, and fell asleep quickly. First time she woke was 10.30, and next was 1.30 am. She sat up, looking at the other beds which were now occupied. Audrey put her feet on the floor, and stood up. She pulled on a pair of trousers and a top. She opened her trunk, looking through it before finding what she was searching for. She pulled up a pair of white skates. She threw them over her shoulder before putting on a pair of shoes. She walked out the door and started the walk down to the entrance hall. The castle was quiet, and Audrey only had to hid once, when Peeves came flying. She was down at the entrance when she heard a sound. She looked back, but didn’t see anything. Quickly, she slipped through the doors and walked down to the lake. She pulled out her wand, and muttered something. The whole lake was now frozen solid. It was one of the spells Audrey had learned first, since she didn’t want to stop figure skating just because she started a new school. Audrey kicked of her shoes, and replaced them with the skates. She stepped onto the ice, and moved around graciously. She had always loved skating since she was little, it was even better than dancing. Well, it actually counted as a form of dancing. She closed her eyes, moving around on the ice, twirling and jumping. She forgot about her problems for a moment, just as when she was dancing. She was a free spirit, just moving with the wind, carefree for a moment. 9 mar, 2018 18:41 |
