The party didn't end well for Noel. Klaus made him drink more, and more, and even more. Poor Noel wasn't used to drinking that much, so he got really drunk. He ended up dancing like some crazy man, falling onto Eric, and throwing up at Klaus' shoes. Merlin, he was the worst Prefect ever.

However, he made it back to the Dungeon. He couldn't remember how, but he did. At least he slept well, so he woke up with a full bar of energy. And a headache. A bad headache. Crap!
"Noel, you have to get up", Klaus said, shaking Noel's body.
"Why? It's Saturday", he answered, keeping his eyes closed. The light worsened his headache.
"Audrey is probably waiting for you", Klaus answered, removing his hands.
Oh, Audrey. Noel had completely forgot about her and Dumbledore's damn project. For some reason, he didn't want to keep her waiting, so he got up. Put his uniform on (even though it was the weekend, he almost never wore anything else than his uniform) and checked himself out in the mirror. His hair was, as usual, terrible. The not so usual thing about this day was that he actually did something about it. Why? He hated to admit it, but he kind of did it for Audrey. He wasn't in love or anything, obviously, but she was really pretty. And he didn't want to look like a five next to a ten. He wanted to look like a seven next to a ten.

He walked up the stairs and arrived at the entrance hall. His eyes quickly saw Audrey standing there (in her school uniform, Noel didn't think she was one of those students who wore school uniform on the weekends) leaning against the wall. He walked up to her, slowly, as always.
"Hey", he said, with the raspiest morning voice ever.

As Audrey stood there, looking at the other students, she realized something: it was Saturday. Which meant she was wearing her uniform for no reason. She sighed. Not only was she looking like crap, she also looked like a nerd, wearing her uniform on a freaking Saturday. She had been sure that it was Friday. She blamed the lack of sleep.

She stood there, thinking about her looks when Eric came up to her. He smiled a little and stopped.
“Rough night?” he asked and looked in her eyes. He recognized all her moods, just by looking at her for one second. Audrey nodded.
“Don’t mention it” she said expressionlessly, and Eric looked at her, compassionated. She hated that. Eric and his partner went into the Great Hall, and left Audrey alone. She wondered where Noel was, she thought he was a morning person. She sunk into her thoughts for a while, and was torn from them when she heard Noels voice. She looked at him with an expressionless look.
“Hi” she said shortly before entering the Great Hall. The tables weren’t arranged after Houses anymore, so Audrey sat down at the nearest spot, and started to eat breakfast. She wondered how long Noel had stayed the night before. She looked up.
“So, did you let your hair down after I left yesterday?” she asked with a grin.

As he stood in front of her, he noticed how terrible she looked. Or, not terrible. She was still pretty, but... Her eyes were bloodshot and she just looked, overall, tired. Without commenting on it he followed her into the Great Hall. The four House tables were not there anymore. Instead there were more non-House arranged tables everywhere. Noel hated it.

He sat down with a dissaproving sigh, wondering what went through Dumbledore's head. Surely the tables had to go back to normal as the project was over, right? He took a sip of pumpkin juice. Much better than butterbeer, which he would never ever drink again.
"I really don't want to talk about it", he said, trying to hide the fact that he was embarrassed, but she could probably see right through him. He would never attend parties ever again. Hell, if anyone had seen him... Of course people had seen him. He'd even fallen over Eric! If he would even dare to tell Audrey about that... Well, Noel couldn't do anything. It's not like he would hit him. Noel's not that kind of guy. Or?

Audrey nodded and was silent, which was very unusual. She poked around in her eggs and didn’t feel like eating. She put her utensils down and looked around the room. She spotted Eric, who sat in what looked like a deep conversation with four other students. Her eyes travelled across the room and she observed some Slytherin students, who seemed to have “forgot” about the project since there were only Slytherins around that table. One of them was Sean, whom Audrey had never even spoken with, but yet it seemed like he had opinions about her. She let her gaze wander, and finally her eyes were back on her eggs. She was repulsed when she saw them, and pushed her plate away. She put her elbows on the table and put her chin in her hands.
“So, what are we doing today?” she asked and looked at Noel. She really wanted to be alone, but that wasn’t an option. She decided to just go through the day, and try to be as normal as possible. She wasn’t going to allow the night’s visits to destroy her completely.

Noel started to eat his eggs and did not pay attention to Audrey at all. Food. Food was great, he loved food. Especially breakfast. (No, he usually hated breakfast. He wasn't a morning person. Was he still drunk?) He only looked up att Audrey once she started to talk.
"No idea", he said with a weak voice. "I have this terrible headache, so I'd like to chill." He took another sip of his juice and put it down on the table again, very gently, to avoid a thud.

Audrey grinned.
“I see. It seems like Mr Prefect did let down his hair, and even got himself a hangover” she said and leaned back in her chair. At least she could still mess with people. She studied him up and down.
“So, how does it feel? To have lost your hangover-virginity?” she asked with a smile. She tightened her hairband on the braid. She loved when other people were hungover and she wasn’t; especially when it was a Prefect. It seemed like Noel wasn’t as stuck up as she thought, she wondered how he had been when drunk. She wondered if Eric had seen him, she gave herself a mental note of asking him later. She opened her mouth and was just about to say something when she felt something wet pouring down her collar of her shirt. She looked back, and the gang of Slytherins stood there, with Sean in the lead.
“Oops, sorry” he said and nodded towards the glass he just had “spilt” on her back. He sniggered before walking away with the others. Audrey clenched her fists. What was this guy’s problem? She stood up.
“Well, now we have something to do, I need to change” she said and looked over at Noel.

For Noel, it felt like Audrey enjoyed his terrible hangover a lot. Which she probably did, but he wasn't sure. He didn't completely understand girls.
"It feels terrible", he answered, touching his (nice) hair. "It'll never happen again." He continued eating his eggs again and only stopped when he saw Sean and some other slytherins behind Audrey. He quickly understood that they had something in the making, because of the disgusting smile that Sean gave him.
Noel expected Audrey to yell at him, but she didn't. Did she expect Noel to do something about it? She couldn't have.
"Really?" he said, confused. "You're not going to like, do anything about it?" He gestured at Sean, who was walking away. He had really hoped that she would've yelled at him. Now he felt obligated to do something about it himself. That was bullying, and he was a Prefect, after all.

Audrey looked at Noel and raised an eyebrow.
“Do something? Like what, tell on him? I’m considering punching him, but somehow I think that would only get me in trouble, not him” she said and stood up. She tried to look back on her shirt, she could only see something orange in the corner of her eye, which meant the content of the glass had been pumpkin juice. Idiot. She pulled out her wand and flicked it, and the stain disappeared.
“I’m still changing clothes though, so come on” she said and walked out of the Great Hall. She heard laughter in the entrance hall, and saw Sean and his Slytherin companions across the room. God, how old were these guys? 12? Childish. Audrey went up to Sean, put her face once centimetre from his.
“Do something like that again, and you’ll be sorry” she whispered before storming off and up the stairs. Sean looked at Noel and did a “crazy gesture” towards Audrey’s direction, but she didn’t see it. She was focused on not punching a wall. She hated to be humiliated.

Noel had thought that Audrey simply didn't care about getting in trouble. But apparantly she did. She was human, after all. He didn't say anything else. He kept quiet, trying not to bother her for once. When she started walking out of the Great Hall he quickly stood up from his chair and followed her. In the entrance hall he saw Sean and some other Slytherin boys standing there, laughing. Noel hoped that Audrey would stand up for herself. He didn't understand why, but he just did. And well, she did stand up for herself.
Sean did this weird gesture for him to see. Could he fuck off? Really. Noel saw Audrey storming up the stairs but he stayed there, with the Slytherins.
"Sean, I'm sorry", he said, actually not sorry at all. "But I have to give you detention." Not wanting to hear what Sean and the other boys had to say, he quickly turned around and ran up the stairs, so he could follow Audrey again.

Audrey didn’t even look back to see if Noel went with her. Right now, she couldn’t care less about Dumbledores stupid project. Why did everything have to happen the one time she couldn’t get some privacy? It was like the Universe tried to tell her something and work against her.

When she finally came up to the portrait, she went into the hole and upstairs to her bedroom. She pulled off her uniform and threw them on the ground. She put on a pair of jeans and a red top. She stood there for a few minutes, staring out the window. She was really pissed, and felt the anger bubble within her. She re-braided her hair before leaving her bedroom to find Noel. She found him, and went up to him.
“I don’t care what you say, I can threaten him all I want” she said quickly, because she didn’t want a scolding for hurting another student’s feelings, he deserved it.
